marine travel company, formerly known as Chartham Marine,
are based in Canterbury, Hull and Barrow-in-Furness, established
nearly five years ago, we are now recognised as one of the
UK's leading independant marine travel agents providing dedicated
travel services to the Shipping and Marine industry.
Over the years our marine travel client base has extended
into Europe and further a field and we have also been invited
to tender for global marine travel and ships crew travel
business.
With this in mind during mid 2006 we started a process to
seek like mind marine travel and ships crew travel companies
that operate the same business ethos as ourselves.
We have spent time and our own money to seek and visit various
marine travel companies around the world. We have visited
Latvia, Greece, South Africa, Philippines, Hong Kong, Ukraine,
Turkey, Dubai and the USA.
We are delighted to announce that a group of the agencies
we have now met have agreed to form a new global marine travel
alliance.
Our aim is to be able support our existing customer base,
by sharing fares and services that are available in the individual
members market place, we have tried and tested the services
of the global partners already and a number of customers
have benefited from fares that are not available to the UK
market.
This is an exciting step forward for all of us in the marine
travel company and we believe by creating this alliance that
it gives us the ability to enhance the service we already
offer you and indeed new customers.
